Chicago PD was renewed for a ninth season in April 2023, along with it's sister shows Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.[1]
It was confirmed by NBC[2] that due to the SAG-AFTRA strike[3] , the entire One Chicago franchise (Chicago PD, Chicago Fire and Chicago Med) will be delayed to 2024.
PD airs on Wednesdays at 10PM EST, preceded by Med at 8PM EST and Fire at 9PM EST.[4]
