Roy Darrow is a career criminal who killed officer Emily Martel and kidnapped his little son, Bobby Darrow.
Background[]
Roy Darrow had a family; his wife, Denise Parker and there two sons' Nate and Bobby. However, Darrow was also a violent criminal who was also abusive to his wife. Darrow would be arrested for armed robbery and was set to serve five years, but he got out in a year for good behavior. After getting out he would threaten his now Ex-wife which caused her to file a restraining order against him. Darrow had a plan to get his kids back. He would first go to his eldest son, Nate and convinced him to come with him after playing basketball to their old house, promising Nate that he wouldn't hurt Denise.
Ten Ninety-Nine[]
Although he does not physically appear in the episode, Darrow would go to the house of his Ex-wife and shoot her and another man who was also in the house. The shot would be heard by Officers Emily Martel and Adam Ruzek. Darrow would then shoot at them when he announced there presents, killing Martel with a bullet through the head.
Blood Bleeds Blue[]
Adam Ruzek and Kiana Cook would come into the house. They would find the man that was shot, checking the pulse which confirms that he is dead and help Danies who was still alive. They would then hear footsteps and went to check it out. They would only find an empty child's room. They would then see Darrow placing his son in his car. Darrow would shoot at the two officers and throve off his son in the car. Being hit, Darrow would go to see Ed Strickland, an associate who would patch Darrow up and then leave. Darrow would then run into Ruzek and Cook. The two officers would stop Darrow and point their guns at him. However, Darrow would then speed off hitting Cook who latched onto the car. She would then shoot Darrow in the chest. With this, Cook would fall off the car and Darrow would crash his car. Ruzek would go to the wrecked car. Ruzek would tell Darrow to get out of the car but seeing that he was not responding he is presumed dead. Ruzek attempted to take Bobby out of the car, but just then Darrow would wake up, Darrow tried to stop Ruzek, but he was no match for the cop who would knock him out by punching him repeatedly.
Ruzek would then take Bobby out of the car and ran from the car that would explode into flames, killing Darrow who was still inside.
