Mia Sumners is a detective with the Chicago Police Department. She was assigned to the Intelligence Section by Internal Affairs Sergeant Edwin Stillwell to gather intelligence on Hank Voight but when Voight obtained proof she was there to spy on him, he transferred her back to the Narcotics Unit. She was portrayed by Sydney Tamiia Poitier.
