Frank Hancock is a psychotic Robber and serial killer. He is portrayed by David Anthony Marshall.

Background[]

He hailed from Wisconsin and went to high school with a friend Danny Spilatro, who he would still keep in contact with as adults. He was diagnosed with antisocial disorder and was a violent delinquent growing up with a list of criminal acts that include armed robbery, aggravated battery of public servants, grand theft auto of a police car, and shooting at cops all while still a teenager. When he was in his twenties, he killed two ex-gangsters in armed robbery and because of good public defender he was only sentenced to two years. He was incarcerated at Statesville and met Jesse Conway, who was also incarcerated there. He was soon released on parole, but his parole officer had a feeling he secretly continued his criminal acts. He got a job as a gravedigger but only showed up to one shift, before threatening the foreman to punch in for him or else he'd be put in a grave if he didn't.

At some point, he was approached by Jordan Sansone who enlisted his help to rob his family's business in order to pay off a loan to a drug dealer. Frank was selected because of his experience in robberies and was paired up with up with two other accomplices, Danny Spilatro and Roxy Richards.

Climbing Into Bed[]

Getting the sense that he'd be betrayed, Frank decided to pull off the heist on his own and make off with the loot.

The robbery went off, but Jordan's mother had taken a catering job and was in the restaurant, causing her to be tied up by Danny Spilatro and Roxy Richards who weren't planning on killing her. They would also steal from the jewelry store next door, as an added bonus.

Jesse Conway brought in an undercover Adam Ruzek for back-up. Frank, Mark, and Adam (or McCoy) met a bar where they told a story about a robbery they did. Adam would then go to the bathroom. When Frank got suspicious Conway went to Adam to get him out of the bathroom. Frank would then tell the other two that they should go to another bar. The three of them would get out outside. Conway would be left back in the bar as Adam and Frank went for a ride to get to know each other on Frank's request. In reality, he intended to kill him and have him serve as a fall guy once the robberies were complete, while leaving the cops oblivious to his role in the crime.

They took a drive, with Frank telling Adam not to talk before ramming Adam's truck into the Sansone business. While Adam was dazed from the crash, Frank exited the truck and coldly shoots Jordan's tied up mother several times, killing her. He then goes to a dazed Richards and shoots the man dead. He collected the million dollars' worth of loot until Adam regains his wits and reveals himself to be a cop. Just then, Spilatro comes and starts shooting. Adam shoots Spilatro in the chest causing him to fall down. Frank uses this opportunity to run for it, as shoots at Adam causing him to move away and before leaving kills Spilatro with another shot. Frank would escape in a car before Adam can catch him.

Jesse Conway would meet with Frank in an attempt to make things right with Adam. However, things would go wrong, and Frank would end up killing him with a bullet in the face and then fleeing the scene.

Sometime later, he was confronted by Jordan on his actions and the latter threatened him with a gun, but this only served to anger him. Frank proceeded to disarm and beat on Jordan and insults him for his audacity in coming for him, with the latter screaming and it alerts CPD who had tracked Frank to the motel, and they soon spot him. After announcing their presence, Frank takes Jordan's gun and shoots at them before he proceeds to run while Intelligence discovers a wounded Jordan, and he frantically states nobody was supposed to die. Frank continues to flee, tossing his empty gun but is soon apprehended by Detectives Jay Halstead and Antonio Dawson who give him a well deserve beating for his actions.

While in the cage, Frank is approached by Adam who questions him on why he betrayed his crew, to which Frank reveals that he believed that his friends were going to betray him. When questioned if he overheard them say it, he denies it and callously states he got the feeling because of his instincts telling him, before shrugging off their deaths. Disgusted by Frank's lack of remorse in his crimes, Adam proceeds to walk off.

He is then incarcerated for life for his murder spree, attempted murder, shooting at cops, and burglary.
