Enrique and Vincente Domínguez are teenage gangsters who were hired by gangster Nathan Whitcomb to plant bombs on the cars of cops, on the orders of his boss drug lord James Beckett.

Background[]

Not much is known of their past, but both brothers were known delinquents with a rap sheet of offenses, leading to them previously doing time in juvie. Eventually, they got work as a free-lance criminals, more specifically creating pipe bombs for others.

Actual Physical Violence[]

They do not physically appear but because of Barbara "Bunny" Fletcher's complaint against Voight, James Beckett is released. Beckett contacted his subordinate Whitcomb who hired the brothers into planting a bomb on Sgt. Voight's car. However, Voight ended up saving himself and his family in time by hearing the sound, just before the car explodes.

Debts of the Past[]

Much later, Whitcomb had the brothers plant another bomb on the car of Det. Jacob Logan, leading to his charred body being found. As a result, Voight had his unit look into both bombings, a common denominator was that both he and Logan were members of the team that arrested Beckett. The brothers also planted a bomb on the car of other member of Beckett's arrest team: Det. Alvin Olinsky (off-screen) but he had the foresight to avoid using his car and calling in bomb squad to check it out.

Intelligence also had the remnants of the bombs traced for fingerprints to see if they get a match. Much later, Intelligence discovered the Domínguez Brothers were the culprits. Officers Kim Burgess and Sean Roman found them while they were walking their dog, calling out to them. Realizing the cops were onto them, they fled to an abandoned building, but their dog's barking led to them being apprehended. Burgess takes out a picture of Beckett and questioned the Domínguez brothers on whether they were hired by Beckett, but they denied it and said it was someone else. Roman tells them that they have a chance to tell them at the precinct, before hauling them off though not before slamming one of them into the door seal and sarcastically apologizing for it.

When Intelligence were able to identify Nathan Whitcomb and arrest him for the bombings and stealing Beckett's money, he denied it until the Domínguez brothers revealed that he indeed hired them to plant bombs in Voight and Olinsky's cars, causing Olinsky to punch him in the face for his actions and he admits to his role in framing them for his theft of Beckett's money but at the same time saying that it was all Beckett's idea to get revenge.

Enrique and Vincente were ultimately incarcerated after being charged for conspiracy, murder, and two counts of attempted murder.

Killed Victims[]
