Biography[]

Dante Torres grew up in a community neighborhood raised by his mother, Catalina. His stepfather, Berto, would beat her on numerous occasions, and though Torres, then 14, called the police six times, nothing was done about it. Frustrated, he would eventually beat his stepfather into a coma, resulting in him serving time in juvenile detention.

At one point, he worked as a gang enforcer for Juan Ariza, a local shot caller and drug dealer. Wanting a way out, he faked the death of a hit target and was tortured as a result.
