Camille Voight was the wife of Hank Voight, the mother of Justin Voight, and the grandmother of Daniel Voight. She also became the foster mother of Erin Lindsay. She died of cancer or a chemo overdose by her doctor Dean Reybold.

Biography[]

Hank gives Justin his mother's ring in An Honest Woman after reclaiming it from thieves. Justin subsequently proposes to Olive with the ring.

In Now I'm God, a case of cancer-free patients dying of chemo overdoses causes the Intelligence Unit to set its sights on Dr. Dean Reybold, who is later revealed to be a serial killer who kills his victims through giving them unnecessary chemo, with Camille being one of his victims. In court, Hank accuses the doctor of malpractice and Reybold is eventually convicted and jailed for his crimes. At the end of the episode, Hank watches a video of him and Camille bonding with their son Justin when they were younger.

Notes[]

  • She didn’t live to see Olive as her daughter-in-law or meet her grandson Daniel.
  • She was familiar with Alvin Olinsky because of his long friendship with Hank.
  • She met Hank shortly after his first year of patrol duty when they were both stuck in an L-train car that got stopped because someone committed suicide on the tracks. They married six months later.
